This wall hanging is featured on the front cover of Machine Embroidery and Textile Art Magazine (Vol. 14 No. 6). Quilt instructions are included in the design package. The wall hanging measures 80cm x 1 metre. Both Blackwork Beauties collections 1 and 2 are required to complete this project. |
Each designs measures 129mm x 129mm and all can be viewed at the bottom of this page.
These designs are traditional blackwork; however they may be stitched out in any color of your choice. They replicate hand needle work and are in quadruple stitch to resemble two strands of DMC. These stitch out continuously and there are no jump stitches.
They make great patchwork quilt blocks or can be stitched on linen and framed to resemble hand needle work. They also can be stitched in metallic thread and made into Christmas ornaments.
